Booking, Assessment and Reporting Process
NDIS self-managed and plan-managed participants welcome.
Once an appointment is booked, you will be emailed an NDIS referral form to complete. Completion of this form is required for all NDIS services. Please ensure you provide a current email address when booking so this information is received promptly.
All assessments are conducted online over 3 hours and you must consent to being video recorded. An invoice will be issued via email following the assessment session.
An additional 4 hours is required for post-assessment work, including transcription, detailed analysis, and preparation of written recommendations and reports.
Auslan-based assessments require extended post-session analysis. This is because responses are recorded in Auslan and must be viewed, transcribed, and analysed in full after the session. Real-time scoring is not possible, as accurate assessment requires continuous visual attention to the signed responses.
This process ensures reports are linguistically accurate, evidence-based, and defensible, and that findings reflect the participant’s true functional communication and social-cognitive abilities rather than language access limitations.
